get Karri a SLR. She NEEDS it.
Purrty..but would be so much better with an SLR! course that would enable you to take fantastic shots of my kids too...

Great pix...my digital camera (a 4 year old finepix e550) just died. Can i ask, did you get the SLR? If so, what did you buy? I am shopping for one now! I also had a mom blog but I sort of abandoned it: www.momtries.com. I'm also in Wisconsin (near Madison).
